St. Johns County Republican Liberty Caucus Endorses Ko Robins for St. Augustine City Commission, Seat 4
ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — July 30, 2026 — The St. Johns County Republican Liberty Caucus is proud to endorse Ko Robins for St. Augustine City Commission, Seat 4.
The Republican Liberty Caucus advances individual liberty, limited government, fiscal responsibility and constitutional principles. Robins brings the practical experience, fiscal discipline and commitment to cooperation needed to serve the residents of St. Augustine.
“St. Augustine is the historic heart and county seat of St. Johns County,” said Sean Carpenter, chair of the St. Johns County Republican Liberty Caucus. “Its success affects residents, businesses and taxpayers throughout our county. Ko Robins understands that the city and county must maintain a productive working relationship while remaining accountable to the people they serve.”
Robins is a small-business owner whose family works on commercial and historic properties. Her professional experience gives her a practical understanding of infrastructure, flooding and the challenges of preserving St. Augustine’s historic character while preparing the city for the future.
She has also served as the St. Johns County Republican Party’s state committeewoman and legislative chair. Through that work, Robins developed relationships with officials at the county, state and federal levels and helped residents understand and participate in the legislative process. Those relationships will help her advocate effectively for St. Augustine and improve coordination between city and county government.
Robins has rightly called attention to the city budget more than doubling over the past six years without residents seeing a comparable improvement in public spaces, sidewalks, landscaping and other essential services. Taxpayers deserve to know where their money is going and whether city spending is producing measurable results.
“When a government’s budget doubles, residents should see a clear return on that increased spending,” Carpenter said. “Ko will bring a business owner’s perspective to City Hall by asking hard questions, setting priorities and demanding that tax dollars be managed responsibly. St. Augustine can preserve its beauty, improve essential services and address infrastructure needs without treating taxpayers as an unlimited source of revenue.”
Robins also understands that St. Augustine must balance the needs of residents, local businesses and visitors. Her priorities, including improved walkability, better transportation during major events and appropriate public facilities, reflect a practical approach to maintaining St. Augustine as a thriving community and world-class destination.
The St. Johns County Republican Liberty Caucus encourages St. Augustine voters to support Ko Robins for City Commission, Seat 4, in the Aug. 18 nonpartisan election.
