  • Monthly Meeting (February 24) with Bobby Williams

Monthly Meeting (February 24) with Bobby Williams

We welcomed gubernatorial candidate Bobby Williams to another successful RLC meeting. He took Q&A from our members for over an hour and described his campaign and his plan.

Topics discussed included electing people of good character, overreach from Tallahassee, citrus greening, property taxes and the state of Bobby’s campaign.

    About Bobby Williams:

Bobby Williams is a 3rd generation Florida native. He is married to his wife of 25 years. He is a dad to a daughter. He loves the outdoors and he likes to hunt. He is not a career politician. He is a working man with a long record of showing up for people.

Bobby Williams Jr. is the founder of The Freedom Tour, a grassroots food and disaster relief ministry that began in 2016. Starting under a carport in Eloise, Florida, the organization now distributes over a million pounds of food monthly and has delivered more than 100 million pounds of aid across the state. His work includes partnerships with the Polk County School Board and the Polk County Sheriff’s Department, and he has provided hurricane relief across multiple states.

Williams emphasizes his faith, community service, and non-politician background as central to his campaign. He states he was divinely called to run and aims to bring truth and compassion into government. His campaign has received an endorsement from Defending Rural Florida PC, which highlights his commitment to rural communities, agriculture, and environmental preservation.
