St. Johns County Republican Liberty Caucus Applauds Unanimous RLC of Florida Endorsement of Representative Kim Kendall
ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — August 2, 2026 — The St. Johns County Republican Liberty Caucus welcomes the Republican Liberty Caucus of Florida’s unanimous endorsement of Representative Kim Kendall for re-election to the Florida House of Representatives in District 18.
The endorsement was made by the statewide Republican Liberty Caucus of Florida. County chair Sean Carpenter said he and local members concur with the decision and believe Kendall’s record demonstrates why she earned the state organization’s unanimous support.
“Kim Kendall is accessible, responsive and focused on the real concerns of St. Johns County families,” Carpenter said. “She listens to residents and turns their concerns into action. Her work on hazardous walking conditions and the Swimming Lesson Voucher Program reflects a practical commitment to protecting children and serving the people she represents.”
Kendall has also been a determined champion of parental rights. She advanced legislation reaffirming that parents hold the primary authority to make education and healthcare decisions for their children. Although the legislation was blocked by legislative leadership, Kendall continued to stand for the principle that parents’ rights must be respected.
“Kim did not back away from those who want to allow government to control our children,” Carpenter said. “She stood her ground because she understands that parents have the fundamental right and responsibility to direct the upbringing, education and care of their children.”
For St. Johns County residents, Kendall’s advocacy to protect the Guana River Wildlife Management Area from development is another important example of responsive representation. Her efforts recognize the environmental, recreational and community value of one of Northeast Florida’s most treasured natural areas.
“The Republican Liberty Caucus of Florida made the right decision in unanimously endorsing Kim Kendall,” Carpenter added. “From our perspective here in St. Johns County, she has earned support through her accessibility, her defense of parental rights and her willingness to fight for the community she represents.”
Representative Kendall is seeking re-election in the Aug. 18 Republican primary for Florida House District 18. Early voting is scheduled for Aug. 8-15.
